Hello Chanco Friends,

I'm so happy to have found this site - better late, than never, right?!  I was a camper every summer from 1992 up until Senior High Conference in 2000.  I was also a part of Happening weekends from 1998-2001 through EYC (St. Thomas, Chesapeake).

I went to Virginia Tech after high school and studied French and International Studies (where I also met my husband) and we're now living in Chapel Hill, NC. I work at UNC-Chapel Hill for the College of Arts & Sciences in HR. It's a beautiful place to live with wonderful people, and I feel very blessed to be able to start my "adult life" out in this town.

It's wonderful that CCAA exists so we can all carry on the spirit.  I look forward to returning to Chanco for work weekends and visits in the coming months, years.  I've been away from the "magicical forests" for a quite a few years but am really thrilled (relieved) to have found it again...
