Chanco Work Weekend November 20-22

Are you already having Chanco withdrawal after the incredible second annual 40th reunion?  Were you unable to make the reunion and looking for any excuse to spend the weekend at Chanco?  Well, there is a solution to these dilemmas!  We have scheduled a fall work weekend for November 20-22.  We are compiling a list of maintenance and general cleaning tasks that need to be done around camp, and then when the work is done, we will have plenty of time in the evenings to eat drink and socialize!  This year we will have the use of Watson Lodge for sleeping accomodations a continue reading »

THANK YOU CCAA MEMBERS

Once again the CCAA comes through for Chanco. The outtrip equipment needed to be replaced and our alumni association, in a period of TWO WEEKS, raised enough money to buy absolutely everything on their wish list, plus a container for storage. I love this...

I was looking through old blogs and reminiscing and came across this one that Helen wrote after Fall Fest.....after reading Tater's posted of Boomer's writing and now this one, can't you just FEEL Chanco - the memories brought back by reading these are so vivid - smells, sights, sounds of our beloved Chanco... It is like I am there again.  How I love that place...... continue reading »
