I was thinking a way to stay inolved till we help with the continuing of the new camp is to have a Chanco Chum secret buddy between alumni the summer...I'b be happy to spearhead   the idea unless one of the alumni board would like to do it.  I thought we could send notes, little care packages or the like.  Another idea would be to adopt a Chanco staff member and we could be paired up with a current staff member and sent them stuff to keep up their spirits...and enough that they would be singing for there mail on occasion!  These ideas if adopted the identities could be reveale  continue reading »

The last few days I have been trying to contact some of the Chanco Friends that I know where they are...Seems like many, like myself have scattered to the four corners of the United States....but I'm beginning to see a little success! Though still waiting to hear back from some....Also, there are a whole bunch that might be in the area that don't know about this site or the reunion...

The good news is it looks like people are spending the word..and I wiil continue to do the same and look forward to seeing everyone in September!

I see on the Chanco Schedule that there is a Family Alumni session for a few days each August...I haven't been to one of those yet, but would certainly be interested if I knew more about it.  If this site really takes off...that would be a great gathering point for us to "meet and greet".
