Well, thanks to our generous members, we have reached our goal for getting the Tea Leaves done and now all those illustrious names will be displayed for all eternity. A big THANKS to our donors for allowing us to get this done. It is important to carry on the tradition for all the future generations of our Chanco tribes.

So, I was going to write this entry last week, and had I, it would have been a sweeping dramatic piece of prose that may, or may not, have bordered on the melodramatic. It quite possibly would have flirted with melodramatic. It most certainly would have at the very least sent melodramatic an anonymous shot from across the room, even if it never found the courage to actually ask it out on a date. So, the reunion is fast approaching. We have moved it up a month to September 11th through the 13th. That way we can enjoy the fading summer weather. I do not have all the details, well, that is not technically true. I do have all the details, I am just too lazy and too hungry to put it all together in a cohesive post. I am going to leave that to those more organized than myself. And as I said, there is pie involved. It is waiting in the other room for me. So intrepid readers, I am about a week behind on blogging on this site. Three kids, a wife, two jobs, and school full time seem to always find ways to insert themselves between me and my true love, which of course is writing to you guys on this little homepage-away-from-camp of ours. The fact that I am highly skilled and a well trained major league procrastinator honestly has nothing to do with it. At any rate, I am here now. And that is really what is important. The reunion is right around the corner. Hard to believe that it is so rapidly approaching, and in true Camp Chanco fashion, we have had a flood of registrations in the last two weeks. Loads of folks I have not seen in years are coming, as well as a bunch of people I have yet to meet. It will be nice to have some new stories instead of me regurgitating the same one over and OVER again! There are, however, a few names I have yet to see on the list, and you know who you are. There is space left in the chalets but the conference rooms are rapidly disappearing. Do not let staying in the chalets discourage you from coming, they are actually quite nice and the weather will be perfect, no matter what it is! "Oh the Lord is good to me...“ So jump right in and sign up to be there! So, I was just sipping some coffee and reminiscing about last years reunion and man, am I ready for this years! It is coming up fast and I am very curious about who is coming. So I said to myself, "Self, why not ask on the website to find out ." Myself relpied, "Great idea. You are a genius!" (Myself does not get out much and views me very much through a pair of severely rose colored glasses. Myself is also somewhat delusional. I have decided to find it charming.) So, without further ado - Who's coming? Post below and let me know. (Evan, I expect your name to be first!!!) And if you haven't registered, DO IT NOW! We need to fill up this joint quickly. And as we know from last year, space went fast. Click over this very minute and register. This is YOUR weekend and I want you all there! Then come back to this post and tell me who you are bringing.
