Yesterday (8/31/2008) I was speaking with Charlie Hughes and he suggested that I check out Chanco Once.  Wow, the photos bring back memories and names I had thought I'd forgotten! 

I first came to Chanco in 1973 (age 13) because Mom got the job as Arts & Crafts director.  She brought all of us kids and we lived in one of the large tents in the non-counseling staff area.  Each of us kids were campers during the appropriate session that summer.  It was a lot of fun, but I had to live in the same tent with my brothers & sister most of the summer.  Next summer I joined the staff and got away from all that!
