Chris Sawyer

Most people knew me as Stan's son, but that didn't bother me. I started going to Chanco in 1981 and was initiated into the Order of Chanco in 1984. My last year at camp was in the summer of 1990, after I graduated high school. This place shaped me as a person and helped me meet a lot of life long friends. Since camp, I have married my best friend Ryan (see picture,if my post worked) and we have two boys named Peyton (3 years old) and Jaxon (2 years old).  We are slo expecting our first daughter, Reagan in May 2008.  I have been working as an advisor in the education field for a number of years and was just recently named the Director for Cambridge College in Memphis, TN.  I have so many memories of Chanco and it is great seeing allof my old friends popping up on the site. I look forward to reconnecting with everyone and please feel free to contact me.

Chris!

Dear Chris,
I think of you all the time.  Thanks for that great letter you sent to my fan site for HERO.  Meant the world to me.  So much of what I wrote about was shaped by years I spent with you.  No matter how alienated I felt, I always felt like I belonged when we were hanging out.  And you may not remember that handful of times you took me surfing.  I was so bad.  I mean really bad.  And now I'm an avid surfer.  Montauk every summer, and a few surf trips in between.  A longboarder now, like all us old guys.  But I love it.  Let's go surfing again.  Tell me when and where.  Would be great to see you, Anthony Cox, and Robbie Simmons again.  Had some of the best times of my life with you guys!
Caritas and all that other stuff,
Perry
