Remember when you had to send in your Chanco registration the first day or you would be wait listed?  Camper enrollment still climbed this past summer and the hope is that if we can continue to make upgrades to the facility, we will soon be seeing all the sessions full.  HERE IS A WAY WE AS ALUMNI CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE RIGHT NOW!  The past two summers Chanco has successfully run a fundraiser called "Change for Chanco" where the kids save their coins during the winter and spring and donate them at their session.  An anonymous donor matches the total contributions.  In 2009, the kids (with the matching donor) raised about $3000 and Chanco was able to purchase the Aquaglide inflatable for the river.  This past year, the goal was a new rock climbing wall for the ropes course.  The kids (and donor) doubled their contributions and brought in about $6500 this year.  Chanco is asking for your help as you are making your year end donations; the estimates for building the rock wall are much higher than $6500, so any help our alumni can give will be much appreciated.  Can you spare $25, $50, even $100 to put towards this much needed improvement?  Contact Jenny at jennyalfano@gmail.com for more information.  Thank you so much!!!
