THANK YOU CCAA MEMBERS
Once again the CCAA comes through for Chanco. The outtrip equipment needed to be replaced and our alumni association, in a period of TWO WEEKS, raised enough money to buy absolutely everything on their wish list, plus a container for storage. The equipment has been purchased and was delivered to camp over the last few weeks. Here is a list of what we provided: mixing bowls, multiple pots and skillets, a griddle, can openers, cheese graters, cups, bowls and plates, serving utensils, 6 new tents, and a supply of propane for the summer.
Additionally, CCAA members sponsored a portion of the tuition for a camper in need this summer, and Chanco generously subsidized the remaining amount to ensure this camper was able to attend.
These are perfect examples of how our small but powerful organization is making such a difference at camp right now. Thank you to all who donated to these causes, and for those who didn't get the chance to help this time, there are more opportunities on the horizon where we can directly help Chanco, so keep watching the website.

Jenny is right, THANK YOU CCAA MEMBERS!! As an alumni and also one of the outtrip counselors from this summer, I want to thank you personally. I grew up with the old stuff (we actually gave some of the tin cups to the campers this year as momentos....or a pennies cup haha) and was so excited to use the new stuff. We used every single piece of equiptment that was donated and it was terrific! While the campers might not have appreciated that we put spinich in their eggs, the older ones did notice the new goodies we had to cook on.
