Okay, it's the Chanco Fall Weekend -- otherwise known as the Chanco reunion weekend. It's a Saturday - Sunday affair, starting Saturday evening. I've chatted with Boomer and there will be rooms available that night for about $50 -- take that, Super 8! Registration instructions will be coming in the next few weeks.

So what's going to happen at the reunion? Why, whatever you want to happen. Think of it as Anything-Goes-Day, Big Day, Indian Night, and Crazy Hat Lunch all rolled together - with you a whole lot older.

And I also want to take care of a bit of business, since we'll have us all there. We need to organize and formalize a Camp Chanco Alumni Association. I think it's long overdue for us to get official -- it'll help us reach out to folks who haven't yet found this website. And it will help in doing some fundraising for Chanco.

So I'm gonna keep harping on this throughout the summer. Reach out to the folks from Chanco you know, and threaten them with sanctions if they don't show. Lets make a good showing. If you like this website, you have no excuse to not come.
