Isn’t 2008 an Olympic year…okay is it not also the 40th anniversary of Camp Chanco

If memory serves 1988 was the 20th anniversary – there was a reunion and ironically a closing Eucharist at the original site in October (I still have a copy of the Eucharist program)

Sounds like the 40th would mean the pilgrims would flock – how about this

Oh they will come … by car in their 3 cylinder Hondas …perhaps they will be leaving on a Jet Plane…or go old school and row by canoe down the mighty James (now free of heavy keypone waste)

Hard to believe the current site 1989-2007 is nearly as old as the original site 1968-1988.
