Chanco Needs You!
I am writing to request volunteers for Chanco's NEW Chanco Parish Representative Program! The Board of Directors feels that this program is the answer to Chanco's declining Camper numbers and that by marketing to our grass roots, our foundation of parishes within the Diocese, we can gain record high camper numbers!! Please help us in this venture by agreeing to be a CPR for your church!! Feel free to tell all your favorite Chanco stories at your Chanco Open House, but you may want to keep the sneaking out, capsizing boats and first kiss stories to a minimum! Smile! We have received Board approval for the Chanco Parish Representative (CPR) Plan to spread the word about Chanco in the late winter/early spring 2008! In a nutshell, the CPR will host a Chanco Open House at their church and be responsible throughout the year to get Chanco information into their parish through announcements in church, bulletin announcements and Parish Newsletter articles. The Board Member representative will give the CPR the information (whether it be a flyer for Fall Fest, or Camp enrollment information or whatever) and the CPR will just need to ensure that the information gets out to the congregation. In gratitude for the time and effort the Chanco Rep will take to do this, the Board has approved a $200 discount on Camp Tuition for the CPR's child or to be given to another camper. You must hold the Chanco Open House at your parish and get out all important information to qualify for the discount. Thus far, I have already secured a few Chanco Reps through previous communication. THANK YOU to these folks who have volunteered their time to Chanco:
Sean "Tater" Roberson: Eastern Shore Chapel, Va. Beach:
Melissa Rayborne: Emmanuel, Va. Beach:
Ann Krannitz: St. George, Fredericksburg (out of Diocese): – Ann has also agreed to present a Chanco Open House at St. Mathias, Richmond
Alison St. Hilaire and Patricia Graves: Trinity Episcopal, Portsmouth

If I have anyone's name in error, please let me know as soon as possible.
