I remember tetherball. I've never played since. I think I was emotionally scarred for life by the amount of tetherball we played and injuries suffered during the game as well.I loved it and hated it all at once.

Tetherball Redux?
I too have not played since old camp days. Perhaps the new camp needs us to donate and install a new tetherball court to keep the nurse from getting too bored...?
Too much tetherball
Such a simple game. I remember the one-hit wins, the endless rope burns and the almost-violent contests of strength. In fact whenever i see a festivus pole (Seinfeld reference) I think about tetherball because it has a pole, it's a feat of strength and there was usually an airing of grievances. Haven't played it since old camp, maybe because it was near the canteen it lent itself to being played in front of an audience who knows.

Funny.....
about the tetherball. One of my first questions when I first began to come into contact with old Chanco alum was about the tetherball pole. They took that darn thing down!
